Measure A Shirt
Measure
Collar
Lay the collar perfectly flat on a table. The collar mesurement is taken from the outer edge of the button hole to the center of the button.

Chest
Lay the completely buttoned shirt flat on a table face up. The chest mesurement is taking across the shirt at the bottom of the sleeve seams. Please note that this is NOT a circumference measurement.

Waist
The waist measurement is taken across the shirt at the narrowest part of the shirt at the waistline.

Bottom
The bottom width is measure from one of the bottom hem seams to the other.

Sleeve Length
Measure from the top of the shoulder (where the armhole and shoulder seams meet) to the end of the cuff. If this is for a short sleeve shirt, measure to the desired length.

Shoulder Width
Measure from the point where the left armhole seam meets the shoulder seam to its matching point on the right.

Shirt Length
Lay the completely buttoned shirt face down on a table. Measure from the (center) bottom of the collar band to the bottom of the shirt.

Cuff
The cuff measurement is taken across the open cuff, from the outer edge of the button hole to the center of the button.

Sleeve Width
Measure from the top of the shoulder to the underarm / armpit.
